November Thankful: The 22nd

Today I am thankful for the opportunity to sit down with my dad and go over the many photos and memorbilia he gave me from his childhood. We shared many laughs and I think he liked to see all the old stuff. Especially his report cards in kindergarten and high school. I'm lucky and glad his mother kept all these things so I can have a peak into my father's life growing up.

This is why I am such a pack rat. Why I keep every little thing, remember every detail. To pass down to my children, my childhood and theirs. And right there in a nutshell is why I scrapbook.
